Princess Margaret of Sweden, Duchess of Västerbotten & Jämtland (born Margaret Ingrid Silvia Augusta; 28 December 1984) is the wife of Crown Prince William of the Netherlands. She is the youngest daughter of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden. She and William announced their engagement on 7 August 2010. They married on 18 June 2011 at Stockholm Cathedral. The couple have a daughter, Princess Astrid (3 January 2013) and two sons, Prince Frederick (9 April 2015). They are currently expecting their third and fourth child together. Margaret became Queen of the Netherlands when William's father, King Frederick-William unexpectedly died in early 2017.
